Senior Back-End Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer based in India to build and scale high-performance platforms that empower customer agents and users to enhance productivity, drive automation, and deliver impact at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize high-performance platforms for Customer Agents and users.
• Develop scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code in Golang.
• Implement gRPC, GraphQL, and ETL solutions.
• Integrate third-party SaaS services and evaluate vendors.
• Implement rate limiters, caching, load balancing, and circuit breakers.
• Ensure system observability using monitoring tools.
• Improve system scalability and resilience.
• Work with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform for cloud deployment.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like BuildKite.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing user-facing features for large-scale, high-traffic platforms.
• Proficient in Golang, with expertise in microservices, gRPC, GraphQL, and ETL.
• Strong background in third-party SaaS integrations and vendor evaluation.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools like BuildKite.
• Knowledge of rate limiters, caching, load balancing, circuit breakers, and observability tools.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Based in India with availability to overlap with PST. (Fully remote opportunity)
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
