We are looking for an experienced Unix/Linux Data Processing Specialist to manage data operations through Unix shell scripting, Perl, and SQL. The role involves filtering and analyzing XML data, adapting scripts to evolving requirements, and collaborating with business analysts and customer representatives. Proficiency in German, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with Adcubum Syrius and document generation tools like ISIS Papyrus are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Filtering data from XML files and preparing them for further operations
- Controlling the entire data processing process using Unix/shell scripting and Perl
- Adapting scripts to the constantly growing requirements and maintaining them in subsequent operations
- Using SQL to carry out data imports and analyze data in terms of volume, dependencies and technical content.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science / business informatics (FH/HF) or appropriate practical expertise
- Several years of experience in the development and application of Unix/Linux shell scripts, data processing with Perl and SQL or PL/SQL
- Knowledge of ISIS Papyrus document generation or comparable software is an advantage
- Experience with the insurance software Adcubum Syrius / interfaces desirable
- Very good interdisciplinary teamwork skills, analytical skills, personal responsibility and commitment
- Experience in interacting with business analysts internally as well as with customer representatives
- Good time management, goal-oriented and open to learning new things
- Very good knowledge of German
